Please note that many of our items are made from vintage and rare molds.  They are made on order and are limited.  They will be taken off the website as they are no longer available.

Bisque forms, also known as bisqueware or bisqueware, are pottery that has undergone the first firing in a kiln, making it hard and porous but unglazed.  The fired pottery we create are Earthenware pieces.This initial firing, typically at a lower temperature than the glaze firing, prepares the clay to be painted, decorated, and glazed.

"Underglaze" as a term can mean any decoration that is applied, almost always in a fluid form, on the pottery surface before any glaze is applied.  Our underglazes are non hazardous and food safe.

Ceramic glaze, or simply glaze, is a glassy coating on ceramics. It is used for decoration, to ensure the item is impermeable to liquids and to minimize the adherence of pollutants. Glazing renders the earthenware impermeable to water, sealing the inherent porosity of earthenware. 

Please note that all items unless stated are made to order.  Orders are made at the beginning of purchasing and have to go through several processes before they are ready to ship.  Contact us to see if the expected handling time is ok for you when you order.As our products are fragile, will use tracked and signed delivery where possible.  We will send you details of tracking once sent.  

We hope that your products will arrive intact but on the occasion where an item does not you must contact us within 24 hours with pictures of the damage and boxes so we can rectify.  We will try to track your items so we will have as much information as possible.
